Summer 2013

Program Description:
Kids in grades 4-6 are invited to attend an interactive camp that combines food, fun and fitness. Each day will include exciting fitness activities to get kids energized and excited to learn about nutrition and food culture. In addition, they will get to experience unique foods and try out their cooking skills in a “real” kitchen atmosphere while making healthy lunches using the information they learn. Lunch will be provided each day.

Program Cost: Each session: $120 plus $30 non-refundable registration fee.

1st Session:
June 10-20 (Monday-Friday; Monday-Thursday); 9 am-12:30 pm each day

2nd Session:
July 1-12 (Monday-Friday; no camp on July 4th); 9 am-12:30 pm each day

Course Description:

The 36th Annual Course of Pediatrics in the Red Rocks is a 3 day post-graduate course, jointly sponsored by Banner Health and the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. You should attend Pediatrics in the Red Rocks if you are a primary care or hospitalist pediatrician, pediatric subspecialist, hospital and/or university faculty, resident, medical student, or nurse practitioner. The course combines lectures, case presentations, question and answer sessions and workshops with time for informal interaction with the guest faculty and peers.

Course Credit:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Banner Health and the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Banner Health is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Banner Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
