Member Benefits


Your membership in AzAAP offers you a wide range of benefits to advance your practice and influence the health and well-being of Arizona’s children. Whether you are considering joining the Chapter or renewing your membership, we would like to make sure you can take advantage of all the programs and services available for your use.

Advocacy

  • Be part of a unified voice for the pediatric profession, the success of medical practices and the health and well-being of the clients we serve.
  • Serve as a spokesperson or advocate on behalf of Arizona children and pediatricians at the state and national level. Read more about AzAAP's Media and Marketing Committee.
  • Receive timely notification of important legislative updates and instructions on how pediatric providers can help advance or defeat proposed legislation that can impact your business or the children you serve.
  • Through the Pediatric Council, help educate health insurers on issues impacting pediatric practices.
  • Provide the Chapter and its leadership regular updates and input so that we can maintain regular communication with state agencies that impact children and pediatricians.
  • Learn the "how tos" of advocacy to boost the success of you and your peer's practices, as well as the health of your patients through conferences, timely legislative updates, regular communiques from the Chapter and its website.

Leadership

  • Lead and participate in Chapter programs and committees, including on regional and national AAP committees, task forces or at state or national conferences.
  • Help develop special advocacy projects.
  • Serve as an expert in the media. Thanks to a special partnership with Raising Arizona Kids, members are regularly featured in articles about community health issues, as well as positioned with other Arizona media.

Networking

  • Connect with your peers on committees comprised of members and expert guests who have similar areas of interest.
  • Receive invitations to attend chapter CME conferences, social events, and the Chapter’s annual luncheon and meeting.
  • Connect with members through the Chapter's email ListServs, news magazine, directory and website.

Education

  • Access to member-only educational content.
  • Discount registration to attend the Arizona-focused CME conference, Pediatrics in the Red Rocks, each year in June.

Insurance Benefit Plans
