Arizona Collaborative for Adolescent Health (AzCAH)
We Are:
A statewide collaborative that is dedicated to improving adolescent health
A group of healthcare professionals, adolescents, families, advocates and community partners from public and private organizations
A project of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Arizona Chapter and the American Academy of Pediatrics-Arizona Foundation.
Mission:
To improve the health of adolescents through the provision of comprehensive resources for healthcare professionals, adolescents, families and communities.
Vision:
Every Arizona adolescent will have access to and receive excellent, age appropriate and comprehensive health care.
Goals:
1. We will develop and maintain a comprehensive web site on adolescent health for healthcare professionals, adolescents, families and communities.
2. All healthcare professionals will routinely use an adolescent health risk screening tool or systematic method of interviewing with their adolescent patients.
3. We will provide high quality continuing education for healthcare professionals in the area of adolescent health.
