Bullying is a serious problem for many children and teens that can cause myriad of problems later in life, including long-term impacts on physical and mental health. Join us for a FREE public outreach event focused on bullying prevention. This event will take place on the main campus of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s and the Arizona Psychological Association are proud to sponsor this community event featuring special guest speaker, Dr. Dorothy Espelage. Drawing on two decades of research on school bullying, sexual violence and gender-based harassment to share proven strategies on bullying prevention in schools and communities, Dr. Espelage will also share innovative ideas and provide answers for a wide range of questions related to this troubling issue.
